What did you like best about the programme?
Although putting the time to one side has been tricky, it has been one of the best parts. The recordings have been beneficial to use at home but also in the future. I know I will be using them in the future if not more. The course has held up a mirror and made it very evident that I need to put more time into me.

The course will help you in ways you expect but also in many other ways you’re not expecting. Things will just become calmer!!

If you need some ‘space’ in your busy life then this is a benefit of participating in a mindfulness course!

Having/developing the ability to stop, breathe and re-focus on different situations and finding calmer ways to manage what previously could have escalated beyond control.
What would you say to someone to recommend the programme?
The ability to learn a range of strategies to support yourself in not only reflecting on situations but the you behind what is happening. The emotions, thoughts and feelings become much clearer in the moment.

Being equipped with tools and strategies to use in any future potentially stressful situations. Feeling in control and being able to manage by taking 3 deep breaths (for example)

The more you put in (e.g. homework) the more you get out - important to be open and recognise thoughts & feelings and the difference between them.

I can press pause in a difficult situation and evaluate what is happening before acting. I know myself so much better. I want to be kinder to myself and help others to do the same.

Mindfulness practice can slow things down and make everything more manageable. You will find yourself.
